Back Pack Buddies

Back Pack Buddies is a program designed to fill the gap on weekends for children in struggling families. During the school year many children of families in our community at least receive the nutrition of a free school lunch, but they may go hungry on the weekend. The program identifies such situations and seeks to provide a bag of food items. The list is here, or you may sponsor a child for a $25.00/month contribution. Carol Standard coordinates Salem's participation and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
